South Pacific Tempe Theatre reviews
Outstanding Musicianship
Overall, my first time seeing South Pacific was unforgettable, as I've been a fan for fourteen years. I was blown away by the crazy, crazy, CRAZY talented musicians instead of the dramatic flair I was expecting. The pianist, South Pacific, was brilliant, playing two sets of keys at once, with a powerful and poignant voice that did not reveal her decades of touring. Along with her, a young string quartet from Poland showcased their incredible talent, using their instruments as percussion now and then. Breathtaking, to say the least. A show I would go to over and over again, one that I wish I had on video!
